While out visiting the Northeastern corner of Connecticut my wife and I stumbled upon this place. We didn't have a Reservation that is usually required but they were able to accommodate us and we were very appreciative of that fact. Both the indoor and outdoor of the establishment are charming and well decorated, it's cozy but comfortable. Our waitress was fantastic, prompt, and informed us of all the different dishes that were available. Our small 2 top by the window was set beautifully with a nice centerpiece of fresh greens and very lovely cloth napkins. My wife had the brussel sprouts as an appetizer and I had the clam chowder, both were fantastic! Nice and hot, both were delicious as well as a solid serving size. We had main courses of steak salad for my wife and the New York strip for myself, both portions were also well sized and cooked to our request. Both meals were equally delicious. This is definitely a recommend if you are in the area and able to get a seat here, I don't think you will be disappointed as everything we experienced here was fantastic.

First time visitor today, joined one of my brother's to treat my dad for Father's day. Small place, but has a ton of charm packed into it. Our waitress was awesome, even politely laughed at my dad's vintage dad jokes. I loved my chowder, and they loved their stuffies as appetizers. The cocktail menu looked awesome but I couldn't day-drink today, next time for sure. All thumbs up on the Raceway Burger, steak frites and meatloaf & mashed potatoes wrap. The desserts sounded delicious, but having appetizer and a sizeable burger and fries, that will have to wait till next time too. Hoping weather is good for our next visit as it looked cool.

We arrived right at 11:30 with a party of 8 and had a relaxing lunch. Great atmosphere and delicious food. They offer a nice selection of excellent cocktails. Our onion soup,, salads, burgers and sandwiches were all delicious. They also have a nice dessert selection, and the carrot cake and chocolate cake selections were easily large enough for 2 people. But the star of the desserts was the key lime pie, which they serve in a jar. Lunch was made especially enjoyable because of the friendly and unhurried service from Taylor.

This is our second time at this restaurant. It’s been several years since our last visit. Last Christmas we gave some friends a gift card and said when you guys go, we want to join you. We arrived about 6 PM and this place was really going strong. It’s not a big space but they get a lot of people in here and they must have a good because it was packed. When the host sat us, she told us that we had the table for two hours. Just after we sat down they brought pineapple carrot cake to the table for everybody. It was absolutely delicious, it didn’t have an icing on it, but it did have a crunchy sugary topping. Wish I can get the recipe. We started with the brussels sprouts appetizer, and they were absolutely delicious. We each shared a little of that, but everyone got their own appetizer on top of that. I got the beet salad, which I thought was very good. My other half got the Caesar salad and he enjoyed that also. I got the filet mignon au poivre special and my other half got the poke special. We both enjoyed our entrées, my tenderloin was cooked to perfection! It came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. We passed on dessert because we were both very satisfied. I actually finished up the last piece of carrot cake that was on the table. Make sure you call up and reserve ahead because it doesn’t look like you can just walk in here. As we left just after 8 o’clock last night there was quite a few people waiting for their tables. Would love to go back in the future, but it’s a 1 hour 40 minute drive for us to get there. Next time we’re sleeping over our friend’s house! Sorry about the blurry pictures.

Wow! We are so stuffed! This is our first time to come here. An owner or a hostess (I didn’t ask her) is friendly and helpful to us and she ensure our needs-our concerns to be fulfilled. Simply, we had a nice interaction with her. Our waitress, Rosemary who served us gratifying. Elizabeth’s Farmhouse is cozy with cool farmhouse decorations! We all enjoyed our lunch together and we had fall cocktails, appetizers, great lunch meals and fabulous desserts of Fall-Pumpkin Bread Pudding, The Best! Delicious! We are satisfied with Elizabeth’s Farmhouse for our lunch together.

I visited this restaurant on Saturday, and everything was excellent. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our server, Tiffany, was amazing—friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. To top it off, we met a wonderful couple; the guy’s birthday was the same day as mine, and his wife’s was the same month as my Anita’s. Such a memorable night! Highly recommend

We found Elizabeth’s via Google reviews. The location is in an odd commercial area but the building is well maintained. We had a late lunch, sitting at a table against the wall. It was a cold, windy Saturday - and unfortunately the wind was whipping through the window even with the comfy pillows behind me sitting on the bench. The cold made the amazing experience a disappointment. The restroom was seriously toasty - that was a pleasant surprise considering how cold our table was. Rosemary was our server. Very friendly! We each ordered meatloaf wrap. I had the onion strips, my husband had the Caesar as our sides. The homemade ketchup was scrumptious and the Caesar was tangy. The meatloaf was delicious with the mashed. We ordered the chocolate-peanut butter cake and the key lime pie for dessert. The cake was 4” high and could have served four people easily. The key lime was served in a Ball jar and difficult to maneuver to get crust, filling and cream on the same spoon. The cutlery, napkin, plate choices were thoughtful. Felt homey and comfortable. The shoe firm mirror surface was filthy though (see pic)!
